Kliff has had amazing success offensively, but it has been defense that had held him back. As head coach that is his problem, but NFL teams think that they can fix that part of it. The front offices I assume think if they can make the right hire at DC, Kliff could be very successful in the NFL.

a guy that gets hired at one place but defiantly continues to interview for other jobs is going to be too headstrong to allow others to choose his DC without meddling and self-sabotaging

I really don't think Kliff knew he would be in such high demand from the NFL before he took the USC job. If he had known, I think he would have waited.

The path to the top of the NFL is shorter than ever especially with the “let’s find a brilliant young mind” philosophy now.

Matt LaFleur just went from getting fired as QB coach after RG3/Shanahan failed in DC and becoming Notre Dame’s QB coach 5 years ago to being the head coach of Aaron fucking Rodgers.

Kkkliff is high risk but I’d rather than risk than some boring recycled NFL coach.

Because the NFL is a weak ass copy cat league and they think Kliff is the next Sean McVay.

This is absolutely astounding to me as well.

The whole profession is rigged. Shit guys keep getting multi-million dollar/multi-year deals.

Truth is, Kkkliff was homesick and wanted to get closer to Lubbock. Was only 33 days but apparently he lost a lot of weight worrying about it.

Can we not just be happy for a guy now being closer to his family?
 
Double awesome. USC stays as a clusterfuck and I get to watch the Seahawks beat that douchebag twice a year
