Justin Flowe - 4* 2020 LB - Upland (HS), CA - (Offered 1/29/18)

Let's review

Oregon Pac 12 Champs

UW 7 and 5

UW on a two game losing string to Oregon. Again. 78 out of 80 or whatever

UW sucked basically because of linebacker play and lack of pass rush. Oregon gets top in the nation talent at those spots. We get a kid who BLEEDS purple

We allegedly have a great O line class but wait you can't expect anything from them for a couple years at least. Oh and their coach couldn't get a veteran line to perform. Our other glaring weakness this year. And Oregon ran it down our throat in the 4th quarter. Two years running

Gregory is friends with Jimmy!!!!! I assume Hoff is too!!!!

Oregon is out recruiting us but all this should change. Fuck its like the 21st century never happened here.

This is no different than thee Mamba and other top SO CAl talent heading to Oregon when they had their run. They are going to have another while we wait for 2023 to be special

Oregon is not out recruiting us.

The rest, sure.

They will be ahead of us by February just like always

Gentleman's bet
Probably yes. But only because we took two special team players in this class who are all two stars and they didn't need to take any.

Drop them out and the average rankings will be basically the same, a couple spots separating them one way or the other.

Your better than this

I know you're new to the TBS boreds but it's been accepted around here that you take special teams players out of any class for a few years now. This isn't some new idea to prop up this specific UW class.

Making excuses for Oregon kicking our ass isn't new either

Sadly
But they aren't kicking our ass in recruiting.

On the field, no excuses whatsoever. We should have won both of those games and didn't. Complete disasters.

Now to contradict everything I have been saying

There is truth in this. Coaching can make up the difference between the talent gaps here and there. No doubt. Wilbur gets it and so does @dnc

However - get it the fuck done.

I honestly don't disagree

I think it's fair to say Oregon has recruited slightly better than us in recent years. I also think it's fair to say that with all the talent in Washington in the 2021and 2022 classes, if UW doesn't have a better classes than the Ducks in those years then that would be a failure.

I'll give Stanford some credit as well. They have a pretty solid class so far with only 17 commits

They got the son of the all time leading NFL rusher.

They do great with sons of star football players which is interesting because it is a commentary on the education at a football factory compared to an academis school and a lot of guys hope their sons don't have to get their brains bashed in since dad already did

I thought it was pretty much neck and neck the last three years - this year included. We don't have a talent disparity with Oregon. We have poor in game coaching and no hair on our balls.

This. Their kids grew up with money and their Dads remember what it was like on the other side of the tracks. Stanford is the country club they couldn't even dream of working at when they were growing up.

1 for every kid transferring out!

That is crazy. Many coming from the offensive line, a position of most need for them.

I'm exaggerating some. I think it's *only* 12 in the portal, and entering the portal doesn't necessarily mean you're leaving (Hi Jacob Sirmon!).

But damn. Shaw has his work cut out for him.
