From UW WR coach to NFL QB coach to UW OC in two years is ridiculous. He was the OC at Davidson a couple years ago. Bush hasn't done shit. Helfrich's resume blows Bush out of the water. Coach Pete is going with the sure thing. Not gambling on a young gun. I love Bush. But I don't love him as our next OC.

I agree with this, the reason I want Bush is because I think he is a coaching star in the making. I would be willing to gamble on him being a good OC too, let alone a good recruiter. The way he came in and elevated our WR play was incredible. I just have a hunch that he is a great fucking coach.

I understand there are other potential hires out there that would be good too, but I love my bush.
