I'm guessing a drunk Erickson becomes his OC...I half expect Gregory to go be his DC, but he may be long enough in the tooth that he won't be that ambitious.

 
I mean, this is great news for UW overall. 2nd time in the last few seasons another Pac12 school (USC/Sark, OSU/Smith) has helped you guys out big time. But really, a Helfrich hire would be just as bad as Smith. I'd be ecstatic if you guys hired Helf. But Coach Pete is smarter than the doogs on here, so, it won't happen.

Oregon's offense has been far superior to ours over
the last decade and he was in the room for that.

It's the principle. How bad would it suck for a guy who used to coach at Oregon to end up at our bitter rival? The thought makes me sick to my stomach. God forbid.
