Indiana Game Thread

Gotta say I really like the trio of Goss/Johnson/Anderson. They don't play like total pussies and completely wilt when they have 1 bad play. All looking to make plays instead of trying to find a way to not be involved.

Decent core, if Upshaw turns out to be pretty good and Romar can finish with a solid recruiting class I could see them being solid in the next couple of years.

Was that Bruce Pearl on the halftime show? I just tuned in for a second. He seemed god awful.
yes

Kemp and Blackwell are terrible together. Our defense sucks with them in. Not that our defense has been any good to begin with.

We are playing like crap, but it would be nice if they'd give us the ball when two IU players knock it out of bounds off each other.

Really liking Anderson. He's going to get better and better too.
Agreed, great pickup. I loved his JC tape but his offers were mediocre so I tried to temper my enthusiasm. But he's a complete guard. My favorite part about him is how Fetters and Grinolds weren't even sure he'd be a part of rotation. I should have known he'd be good when they started downplaying him.

Back to the Romar roots. 4 guards/wings and a good low post scorer in Blackwell. It's nice actually having five actual threats to score.

Hate to doog it, but that was another bad call. Anderson didn't touch him. It should have been a travel.

Blackwell gets knocked over, no call.

No way we can beat a superior team if the zebras won't call it even.

Goss plays like a grizzled veteran who's lost his vertical. Kid just has a great feel for the game.
