Goss is sloppier with the ball tonight than I've seen him yet. Might be shrinking a bit on this stage.
 
Why does this white kid play? He is a total zero. Does nothing on offense and is so shitty on defense you have to run zone which means hard to get rebounds.

In defense of whitey, we were playing shitty zone defense before he came in.

I remember getting shouted down quite a few times when asking why the fuck we took this kid. There was plenty of the typical "I trust Romar over you."

Guess I don't really see it much. Anderson has a better handle and is a better passer, Jones was stronger, a far better defender and (at the end anyway) a much better outside shooter.

I haven't really seen a good Anderson comp yet. A few on DM.c have compared him to Suggs (along with Romar) and I HATE that comp. The Jones one is better but I don't love it.

I love when Doogs can't argue with you so they always play that card.

I remember going into last year arguing Marcus Peters should start over Tre Watson then hearing that retort "I'll trust the coaching staffs opinion over yours any day!".
 
The offense has been somewhat enjoyable to watch. Guys not scared of driving and scoring down low. Decent ball movement and not as many erratic shots.

But Christ this team can not play a fucking lick of defense or get a rebound.
 
Mike Anderson looks like a really solid piece too. He has had some nice drives, great passes, stingy Venoy type of defense. Since he was a random 6'4 JC no one heard about I thought he might suddenly senior but he has had the most impact of the new guys so far.

Agreed, I've loved Anderson in every game so far.

 
I just looked at our schedules...since '07 UW is 3-10 in early season tournaments/showcase games. Those wins came against New Mexico, Virginia, and a pathetic Seton Hall. Soon to be 3-12. BC went toe to toe with UConn. Plus in that time we're 0-5 at MSG. Again, soon to be 0-7.
