I watched the Bethel v HuardSmalls High game which is the extent of my research but Latu stood out to me bigtime

as mentioned previously, and if you truly didn't know, grades didn't pan out ... sounds like he is a 4* for football but he needs serious work in the classroom to be able to play D1.

as mentioned previously, and if you truly didn't know, grades didn't pan out ... sounds like he is a 4* for football but he needs serious work in the classroom to be able to play D1.

I have seen interviews with players who I'd bet good money couldn't spell more than a handful of three letter words. I'm actually shocked that academic issues of any kind are a barrier to a D1 scholarship at the pointy end.
 
I think academis are important but if the guy has NFL potential I don't see how three years on campus is a bad thing

You would be surprised. I played high school basketball with a fringe D-1 kid that probably read at about a second grade level. He once wrote a paper on my family’s computer that my whole family was astounded how little of a grasp he had of writing. It was like a first grader wrote it.

There is only so much you can do for some people. They still have to take the tests. You can’t write a perfect paper for them because then it’s obvious they didn’t write it.

you should see the writing samples of some people I work with who went to top schools like Harvard, Furd, etc. the entire human race is a fraud

Academis are important
 
I like Schuster too. Just seems like an in state kid we wouldn’t want to go away and ball out for another PAC 12 school.

There is a Buck/Sam prospect from Archbishop Murphy named Josh McCarron hat has been awfully productive too. Maybe we are in on better guys, but he also seems like a guy I would hate to see go away.
