And there it is, Chris Collinsworth referring to UW as, "Washington State". SMFH.
I’m old enough to remember him and Ken Anderson play in the 82? SB in the old Pontiac SilverDome vs the startup team either a fellow by the name of Joe Montana. “Hey guys, that’s John Candy”. Joe Cool 4-0 > 7-3
How I can remember this shit and need to be reminded my kids birthdays is beyond me.

I think the John Candy quote was from the game winning drive vs the Boomer Bengals of 1988. Don’t twist if I’m wrong.

according to google AI it was SB XXIII and I fucked up the quote. 82 SB was in Detroit

Factoring brand and how much it'll tickle ESPN's balls as the primary factor for rankings has hurt college football to the point where it's not even worth talking about anymore.

GF has gotten me deep into baseball the past few years. It feels weird to watch a sport that just plays games almost every day and you get enough sample size to know where teams stand. I prefer a sport which for most of my life has played about a dozen games or so and you spend 9 months of the year talking yourself in an out of stuff and raging about shit that happened 31 years ago.

I’d prefer 11 games of TSIO versus 162 or whatever the hell they play, that’s why I gave up on the M’s 20yrs ago
