Meh. This is just classic confirmation bias. It's telling because we want it to be telling. But these exact comments are made by players every single time there's a regime change. Sometimes they're telling, sometimes they're not. Time will tell.

Either way it will be interesting.

Listen to the audio. DeBoner is an adult. Lake is not. It’s clear we have a mature CEO running the program again. Just wish he had more experience. Gonna take a few years.

I think that was just an opportunity to throw out a classic copy pasta.

I'm glad I baited 2 with that gem

I haven't seen that one work since about 2016.

I love Jaxson but we don't need/want him back next year. Next to Maurao, Troy Fautanu is the most impressive OL recruit we've had sign with UW in a long time and he needs to play this year. He has a way higher ceiling than Kirkland in my opinion.

He doesn't have to play LT. He can start at either tackle or guard spot.

This. I’ve seen enough of Ale, Buelow, and Kalepo. Get the right guys in the right spots.

As could Fautanu. I've been complaining about him at tackle since he was a recruit. He's a rare talent as a guard. As a tackle he's just a good athlete who is on the small size for the position.

Yep, I have no problem with Kirkland playing as long as that means that younger guys who deserve their shot aren't getting passed over due "seniority" the way they did during the Pete era.

less risk of this with a new staff methinks. Might even go the other way if they want to avoid a one and done under a new scheme
