In reading some shit, it feels like the kid was likely shown the door as he would’ve been displaced by brown or Thompson. No sure how this changes things but a projected title from a shit Twitter handle is the most positive news coming in a little so I’ll take it.

When Brown announced he was returning, it was almost certainly a sign that Mario told him he would start if he returned. Shough clearly recognized this.

Where things will get interesting is if Brown doesn't perform well in spring and one of their younger guys gets reps, he'll be on the first flight out of Eugene. Then Oregon would have 2 RS freshmen (one of whom is supposedly terrible in Ashford) and the true freshman

Don't forget Jay Butterfield who is talent wise like Shough was recruited by Arroyo and Taggart. My guess is Oregon has only 2 QB at this time next year.

Arroyo is right, but they offered Butterfield after Taggart had already been at his dream job for eight months. No idea if he’ll ever even play a meaningful down for Oregon, the word is he has a hell of an arm and will be in the QB competition. Good enough to beat out Millen, but only at QB not at special teams.

I'm calling it now, when Will Harris or Terrence Brown gets fired this guy is getting a promotion and will be our next secondary coach.

Yeah I'm sure the guys from New Mexico State and Southeast Louisiana College have some serious recruiting chops.

Thomas Ford had legitimate connections and he can't get us into the Top 11 lists of kids who train with his own brother in Seattle
