Huge news

Texan citizens having the right to detain, arrest, and expel. How do we feel about this idea? It seems popular, but we should think about it.
It didn't say that anywhere. Why would you assume? You know what assume means.
The magabot tweet said "Texans" and I half-heartedly baited the Cliven/Ammon Bundys of this forum. It didn't work that great, it wasn't the best, but let me cook. You know the type, I know the type.
It did not. It was an abbreviation, Txs, a poor one but I never thought it meant "Texas citizens". Texas law enforcement yep. But since citizen arrests are quite real I imagine Texans certainly could do that since it is a crime.
Overall point: it's real slippery slope that hearkens back to some dark times in this cuntry, private citizens and local/state law enforcement included. SB4 got blocked immediately by the 5th Circuit. Why?

Nobody wants vigilante justice
Some of us think the United States shouldn't be the only country in the world with open borders
The feds did it. Dark times today in Texas thanks to the invasion
Martha's Vinyard rode a couple dozen out of town on a rail a day after they showed up
I'm sure you never heard that either

Supremes actually said they will let the lower court stand and won't hear the case until it goes through lower courts. I wish on truly important stuff the supremes would jump faster. National security is important. But they don't do it even for constitutional rights. The left passes laws they know are unconstitutional but enforce them for many years while the challenges wind through the court. Common gun control commie tactic.

I recall the National Guard being called to Martha’s to scoot out the brown people.

It's okay when they live 20 miles away.

It's not when they live on our island.
