They will call it "boring" as someone described it earlier. There, *their, *they're were no rumors floating around for them to hang their hats on so they'll find something idiotic to say. But frankly, I found the recruiting process to be quite boring as well. Boring, professional, exceptional, and productive. No rumors, just real commitments. and as always, fuck off Kim.

Probably say that all of the Washington guys would've come no matter what (#buddabakerplaylist #kalebmcgaryplaylisteventhoughthtatmakesnosense).
Also add on that they took a lot of lower ranked out-of-state kids early and filled up with players that would've been in the bottom half of normal classes.
That they didn't go head-to-head with the big boys out-of-state.
That LA recruiting sucks (this is a narrative already being fluffed by our own @CharlesMincy, who I respect, but still...).
That they're getting 'safe' players, but not guys who have 'high potential'.
That 'player X' from next year is a better test of their recruiting prowess than any of the guys this year.

My guess is they'll go tonsils deep on Sarks recruiting, even though anybody can recruit at SC. Sark is probably going to sign a the #1 class overall on scout this year. Actually, that's not a guess, it's simply inevitable.

For whatever it's worth Biggins and Huffman have said that if Sark and his band of merry dbags were still at UW, that Osa Masina (5* LB, top 20 player) would be a Husky. You might hear that one from LPT.
I'm sure you guys wouldn't make that trade for CP...

If Sark came back with a permanently 19-year old Raquel Welch, 400 tons of non-addictive cocaine, 6 billion dollars, a mega-yacht with a rotating stripper crew made up of the hottest 20 cheerleaders in the NFL and Osa Masina's parents' frozen sperm all for me... ...I would still not trade that for the CP/Sark swap.
On the other hand, if you said I had to eat dirt and pine needles off the forest floor once a month to retain the Sark/CP swap for the rest of my life, I would do it happily.

This. A class isn't exciting enough unless you're tearing Reuben Foster and Eddie Vanderdoes' pages out of your signing day literature at the last minute.
"This was a deep Washington class and, thanks to Sark, Washington is a cool school again for Washington kids. Most of these kids were coming here no matter who the coach was. Pete did a good job of cleaning up the state and learned from his early blunders with Joyner and Throckmorton. Now what happens when Washington state doesn't have the talent? Don James made was successful by getting the top Washington talent as well as elite players from California. I'm not sure the elite players in California could tell you who the current Washington head coach is. Pete's cancelling the trip of Dechaun Holiday was bizarre. They are saying the class is full but that doesn't make sense. You are either sending the message to a top Cali player that he's not important enough for your time or your sending a message to Mora and Sark that you are intimidated by their recruiting prowess. Either way it will be interesting to see how welcomed Petersen is in the future in California. And before anyone starts twisting what I'm saying, Petersen did solid job with this class and was a great hire. Some people on this site like to twist what I'm saying to fit their agenda. We've been doing this a long time."
