House call

Sounds like he isn't Our Kinda Guy.
Listening to the LockedOn podcasts over the summer, where they interviewed a few commits who detailed what the coaches were having them do during their trip, Fisch's program seems a lot more like Petersen's. I can see a smallish linebacker crying about money and the staff letting him go get overpaid somewhere else. We already know we can beat USC, we're trying to get bigger bodies to not get prison raped by Iowa now.
Guess we'll see if Rainey-Sale is the answer to our LB needs. Should be 20 pounds heavier than House
Pretty cool I heard he tore an ACL or something. It's fun to be back to our next recruiting class is going to save us in three years mode.

So a true freshman can't replace a true freshman?
I'm betting ZRS will have a better career than House

Probably, but sounds like he had a recent serious injury so don't even know if he can play this year. He's also not Shaq Thompson, and even a player like him ham a learning curve. We also need more than one linebacker and now we don't have one on the roster that's really even played a significant snap for the progrum, or any other progrum.
It seems like offensive schemes have really lowered the importance of linebackers in recent years at least though.

Well Manu will probably be headed to UW. Certainly need another vet though.
247 has a recent crystal ball of House to UNC. It really sucks that SB / BB may try to raid the UW roster.
What's funny is that UNC has been pretty mediocre since Mack Brown came back in 2019.

The House to UNC thing is kind of weird, but I guess also makes sense. While he wasn't recruited by Belichick I'm sure he can sell him on being a fit for his scheme of not being able to get pressure on QBs while the announcers talk about it.
UNC has kind of been the ACC UCLA where they are in a great place for talent and have produced a lot of NFL players but are almost always mediocre and seem to attract washed up coaches.

Being an “agent” for HS kids and college underclassmen has to be the gayest job ever.
Disagree.

It's a TBS "reporter/journalist" by a mile.

A real "agent" will be flying first class.

.
Disagree. College Football was amazing before the money and Moore's Law got out of hand, and there were still TBS journalists in the good ol' days.

I think there is an overestimation on how much we will root for laundry if the teen boi models wearing the laundry change drastically every single year and just get auctioned on an annual basis.
The laundry means something to us, deeper than a fan connection to NFL laundry, cause huge chunks of the fan base also committed to the same "institution" as well as voluntarily funding its success.
There are other sports and entertainment options out there to care about.
This. Kind of feels like college football is a middle eastern country where the dictator was overthrown and now some shit like the Taliban has taken over. I think even Isis might not give ASU and Boise automatic spots in the final four though and let players transfer every nine months if they want and think that will work long term.
One thing I think you'll see is this setup, which includes coaches leaving, razing programs and those programs never really come back the same or at least feel like they could never win their conference.
This is Syria. The SEC is ISIS - gaining ground until the NCAA starts to bomb them them with rules July 1st.
This year's transfer portal is setting USC back about 3 years and dooming Riley's (Assad's) tenure.
