Average weekly hours of all employees now = 34.5.
Average weekly hours of all employees when Bush left office = 34.1.

The population growth poont is valid, but on the other hand lazy ass Boomers are retiring by the day now.

TL, DR: Things are about where they were 7 years ago. Not great, not a disaster, either way it won't be interesting.

Obamacare is going to crater employment and the economy.

You're really this dense?

That is a projection that will prove true.

I thought you were supposed to be convincing US that the policies will work down the road. and we need to endure a little short term pain for the Big Picture and Greater Good?

Victory already?

When this moron's plan matures in 10 years, you will understand.

And you will have another excuse for failure and more to complain about

So let me get this straight. A republican will be elected in 2016. We go into a recession in 2017, and it's because of obamacare. Got it.

What obamacare actually does is rape, pillage and enslave the middle class with additional, growing 'debt service' (read money going out, less coming in), all for the benefit of the corporate health care industry that is often non-profit (like the NFL lol).

ECON 101 LESSON: A monopoly only benefits the supplier.

And you support the clown who created an artificial monopoly in health insurance. Nice corporate welfare as always.

If you are actually 'for the middle class', I'd hate to see what it would look like if you were against it.

7 years into Reagan things weren't like they were when he took over. Hondo likes my Reagan comparisons. Things really sucked 7 years ago. Obama was hired to make it better.

As a hard working boomer, retirement is for losers

This is no Reagan recovery for sure.

It's not a Carter malaise either though.

But how is Obama a mediocre President?

We would be so lucky if he was even mediocre.

His fuck ups will be felt for generations.

He was for the middle class, until he was against it.

The number of temp, contract, and part time workers has gone way up over the years. Those categories make up 20 percent of the workforce now.
