TL, DR: Things are about where they were 7 years ago. Not great, not a disaster, either way it won't be interesting.
The number of temp, contract, and part time workers has gone way up over the years. Those categories make up 20 percent of the workforce now.
But how is Obamacare affecting the workforce? If you don't think employers are avoiding full time employees as much as possible you aren't upper level like some of us here. Part time and temp and contract not only avoids Obamacare and the worst is yet to come, it avoids a whole bunch of other regulations that have been imposed over the years, including before Obama.
