If anything good comes from this war, it's going to be a global race to renewable energy. DJT very well might inadvertantly become the climate change hero we all needed.

Only a leftard still believes in the lie of cheap green environmentally renewable solar and wind power. Electricity prices are way up in Oregon because of renewable energy mandates. Green energy is none of the above. So we get our stupid leftard Senator Wyden bitching about the high cost of electricity as mandated by his party which controls the state. Must be those dem regulated power companies at fault. Just like Newscum blames big oil for gouging the Cali consumer on gas prices. Amazing that its so much cheaper in Vegas as big oil just wants to gouge Cali.
Plus leftards completely miss that every kilowatt hour of solar or wind energy has to have a kilowatt hour of backup baseload energy available. So you have a 500 megawatt combined cycle gas plant. You replace that with a 500 megawatt rated capacity wind farm. Do you get to retire the gas plant? Uh, no you have to keep it on standby for the time the wind doesn't blow - or blows to hard and you have to shut down the blades. Then toss in the new transmission lines to get the power from nowhere to somewhere. Geezus.

EU exec to propose lower electricity taxes to counter Iran price shock
The European Commission will propose that EU countries cut taxes on electricity and subsidise prices as a quick way to soften the energy price shock caused by the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, Commission head Ursula von der Leyen told a news conference.

Used to be a West Virginia coal strip mine. Chicoms are not building reclamation golf courses in Africa.
