After two years of Petersen, we had tons of gifs of Pete cursing out his players, cursing out the refs, flipping the bird to assembled media, etc.

We don't have any malarkey gifs of DeBoer. None. Zippo. After two years!

I also noticed that the ABC cameras basically ignored him all game long vs. Beavlet.

I noticed the same thing during the game.... It seems like he's shown less than almost any other coach on the sidelines during the broadcasts.

I love his sideline demeanor though.... He always looks pissed but never frazzled... it looks like he's always in control... Gives me even more confidence in him.

I have seen him get pissed at tybo rogers illegal block in the back and unsportsmanlike conduct on the same freaking play.

Also he chased down the ref with a dry erase board to diagram the play and show them they were wrong. He gets pissed at refs.

It's easier to not get pissed when you're 23-2 though.

I also get the impression he’s pretty even handed with the press. Not kissing their ass but also not showing thinly veiled contempt like Petersen did.Very professional.

But as @AtomicDawg said, it’s easier to be composed when you’re undefeated.

That white board thing was the only thing that kept me from throwing things at my screen.

"You fucking idiots! Someone show them how to do their fucking jobs!"

w/respect, those reactions were appreciated when Petersmens was here and winning. It's a difference in styles, not a zero sum.

And the bird was malarkey in the Grumble edit suite. I like to call my Vic 20 the "edit suite." That's what I like to do.

Difference being DeBoer, being the smart Dutchman, is far more economical in his gum-chewing. Maybe one piece of gum per quarter. Carroll, the wasteful Californian, has a bag of Bazooka that he taps into every series, sometimes forgetting to get rid of what he currently is chewing, which makes for a god-awful and disgusting mouthful of goo splatter.
