Yeah, he clearly has a bone to pick with CP and is overinvolved in Jr's career, so what? This isn't a fucking peewee team. Helicopter parents shouldn't scare us away from an elite talent. This is NCAA big boy football, CP should be able to handle Sr. without any effect on his program or its culture. In fact, having Sr. on your side promoting UW on twitter, etc. could actually be a good thing. If it isn't working out for Jr. he doesn't have to remain an unhappy member of the team in today's culture- he can just enter the portal.

It would be a different story if Jr. was uncoachable but ummmm he is lighting it up with FSP with no issues with teammates or coaches. He hasn't transferred high schools a single time. Never been suspended or benched. Apparently yelled at his coach- and that coach is now gone. Get over it.

He went on OSU's 247 board and said Gee is 100% to OSU and suggested the UW offer was nothing for them to worry about at all based on his own speculation. That completely goes against conventional wisdom in recruiting. It ain't over till he signs. Huffman is a fat fuck for that and only further exposed himself as a UW hater. Don't know what his problem is.

They don't recruit our kinds guys and they take soft commits, we don't. We get pissed when our commits don't behave like commits and tweet out new offers like they're still looking around (Kalepo before Pete and I got him to shut it down). So why would we by hypocritical and expect Gee Jr. to not behave like an OSU commit and be respectful towards them publicly after getting a UW offer? If he's interested in UW, he's gonna keep it under wraps until that interest is strong enough for him to flip.

This. Pete wouldn't be wasting time or effort if this was a one-way street. Unless I'm mistaken, Pete's policy is to get involved with other school's commits only if they show interest.

I’m not this doogish but your underlying point is what’s important: for this to have happened the Gees reopened communication with UW. They were told what to do to get an offer. They delivered against those KPIs. Offer received.

This recruitment will go into the signing period but it’s a fighter’s chance at worst.
