Our America Last trade policy wasn't working. Just like open borders wasn't working for the average private sector working American. They worked for specific American interest groups. Like Pfizer or some farmers. Hey, just give ME cheap illegal alien workers and YOU the American taxpayer can pay for their housing, health care, food, clothing and education and all the crime that open borders creates.
 
Trump’s 145% tariff on Chinese goods and the nation’s retaliatory 125% rate on the US have thrown a major wrench into trade across the board between the world’s two largest economies. 
In response, there has been a drastic increase in canceled sailings by Chinese vessels to US ports, with China-to-US vessel traffic down 44% compared to a year earlier, according to the Vizion Global Ocean Bookings Tracker.

Let the Chi Coms starve if they don't want food. Or they can lower tariffs because tariffs are bad if the US does it but awesome when the Chi Coms do it
 
They are paying more for not buying from us. Some farmers are hurt. So were thousands of American manufacturers whose IP was stolen by the chicoms and the US did nothing. We were so in the bag for the chicoms we were exempting them from US tariffs and subsidizing mailing costs from China to the US.
