Getting announced tomorrow. Can’t wait to take that 8-4 momentum into the offseason with our $10m coach.

Best case scenario would have been Fisch leaves for the NFL. Second best case would have been him staying under current contract. Third leaving for another school. Fourth signing a big fat extension to stay.
so of course it’s going to be the 4th option because we’re a retarded school.

This. It just so happens that these schools are opening up and he was never going to UCLA anyways. The only other school he might leave for is Michigan and they seem pretty set for the foreseeable future

It’s easier than it was before the portal. It’s still not that easy. There aren’t that many guys that you can win a title with. At UW, we have always needed a great one. We aren’t Ohio State or Georgia.

I can’t see him signing an extension until after the Oregon game. Hopefully he’s more motivated similar as last week with the opportunity that the school he attended comes a calling. With a win today, he has a serious chance to coach his dream gig.
I’d take a win over Oregon > keeping Fisch because he will never coach here more than 3 or 4 years since Demond ain’t going pro after 3 years. I want Mora when Fisch leaves plus I’ll feel 20 years younger to when most of us wanted him after he declared his love as the Falcons coach.

I can’t see why you wouldn’t want Fisch back. DeBoer left the cupboard bare, especially at OL. He has an above average OL in year 2. He also evaluates HS kids well.
 
Fisch hasn’t won shit. His best win was last year against a mid Michigan at home.
He loses too many games he should win.
Recruiting just to lose big games is stupid.
