Evangelist 'Sama' Paama, 4* 2019 DT, Honolulu (Kaimuki), HI (COMMITTED)

Damn he's beautiful. And I'll never get tired of watching Hawaiian hudls, the difference between the elite kids and the midgets they play against is hilarious every time.

Yeah the question is is he a legit 6'4".

The nice thing is even if he's not he's at least 6'2" or 6'3", so there's some margin here.

To my untrained eye it looks like he's carrying a fair amount of bad weight. Still punking dudes and moving reasonably well though. That means he's probably still got some room to develop. Man, if Socha gets to work with this kid the results are going to force HH to order sweatpants in bulk.

Not especially quick or athletic but dude makes more pancakes than @Swaye and seems to have a nasty streak. Racist crap aside he looks more like Gaines than Vea but I'll take another Gaines anyday.

He's so light on his feet, moves exceptionally well for someone his size and when he makes contact with people they go flying. The discrepancy between how hard it looks like he's hitting them and how far they go flying is telling. He bends well in his stance and he's naturally just super strong.

I really like this kid.

Yep, that's the thing that really stands out. He looks so nonchalant and they just zoom off of him.

It's one thing that really made Trey stand out in HS. He would just get a hand on guys and they would go flying. It's something amazing about Kalepo, too.

It shows you they have tremendous natural power without any serious effort. That's the kind of thing you want in a lineman.

When I watch film I always look for 'errors in physics'.

His name is Evangelist?

He's going to USC

USC’s emphasis on “faith” really put them over the top for his services. Evangelist’s father specifically mentioned Johnny Nansen as a “man of god” who the family felt most comfortable handing their only son over to. Marlon was Evangelical’s official host on his visit. Washington was listed just outside his top 3 of BYU, Utah & USC.
