Hated Deadwood for one reason: Why talk in barely decipherable Shakespearean English but then swear like modern truckers?

You know what would, motherfucker? EVERYTHING being modern English! Appreciate a good period piece, but it's either all or nothing. Make it authentic or make it completely understandable. If naughty words are the star of the show, that might have been cool when I was five.

X Files is so fucking representative of my view of the 90s that I watch it now for the laughs and nostalgia. Mulder is such a model of the perfect 99s man...sensitive but cynical, compassionate but self righteous, a brave pacifist that can throw down at need, blah blah. I still turn thus show on at times and it cracks me up.

The episode with Trebek is one of my favorite things.
Cocksucker never really went into disuse but Deadwood helped keep it front and center.
