Hated Deadwood for one reason: Why talk in barely decipherable Shakespearean English but then swear like modern truckers?

You know what would, motherfucker? EVERYTHING being modern English! Appreciate a good period piece, but it's either all or nothing. Make it authentic or make it completely understandable. If naughty words are the star of the show, that might have been cool when I was five.
