Absolutely. Doing things the right way looks like it will pay off for my company. Got tough in late Summer but long-term looked good so we rode it out without layoffs. We have a mismatch in the labor market created by government.
Those child labor laws are tamping down our prosperity. We have a mismatch in the labor market created by government.
”and then they all high-fived after disowning Trump.”H and his imaginary clients
Parody account
Too much welfare drives up the demanded wage of people on welfare to get off of welfare and they gain no skills to raise their wages. So illegals are needed to offset that, who also need welfare. Mean while government crushes 16-18 year olds who would be willing to work at less than the minimum wage but aren’t allowed to.Those child labor laws are tamping down our prosperity. We have a mismatch in the labor market created by government.
Of course, "too much welfare" can have these effects.Too much welfare drives up the demanded wage of people on welfare to get off of welfare and they gain no skills to raise their wages. So illegals are needed to offset that, who also need welfare. Mean while government crushes 16-18 year olds who would be willing to work at less than the minimum wage but aren’t allowed to.Those child labor laws are tamping down our prosperity. We have a mismatch in the labor market created by government.
And all of this is only possible because the government has the fed to finance it with fake money.
I doubt anyone here disagrees that higher labor costs often hasten automation.Fast food is the ideal industry to get 16 to 18 year olds into working. It was never supposed to be a "living wage" for adults except in management
Forcing them to pay 25 bucks an hour brought automation
Leftists are so clueless about the economy but they carry on anyway
so by "too much" you meant anyGlad you agree government is the cause of the labor shortage we have.
WeakGreat Depression fan weighs in.We seemed to do alright when they cut off the spiget of mass immigration between roughly 1925 and sometime in the 70s IIRC.My argument remains that we have a labor shortage, especially in crappy occupations Americans won’t fill. Incidental increases in social security collections are not my focus, although they do benefit us.
Now on the bright side, the labor shortage will be felt less acutely while the current administration drives the economy into recession. So you girls do have that going for you.
Perhaps another World War?
Fingers crossed!
Do you disagree that there are thousands of people that do not get jobs because they do not want to lose their welfare?so by "too much" you meant anyGlad you agree government is the cause of the labor shortage we have.
thought so
