How many of us would pick UW over Harbaugh and Michigan right now? I wouldn't, let's be real.

If I played any offensive position I'd take Michigan and Harbaugh in a heartbeat. But Jimmy Lake and coach K are legit, and Harbaugh isn't a defensive guy, so I'd give UW the edge for defensive players.

Also Seattle > Ann Arbor by a wide margin.

This. Michigan is a great school and Harbaugh is great but fuck the midwest.

This sounds like a salty WDWHA post, but really I couldn't care less about a prima donna DB from Pasadena who may never crack the 2 deeps.

The guys that suit up next season will rep the W and win games or not. The guy named Pete is payed millions to see they do. Either way it will be interesting.

There is one thing in the David Long recruiting circus that gives me hope:

Why did Harbaugh feel it necessary to bring his entire coaching staff, play football with Long's little sisters, climb a tree, etc.?

I know Harbaugh is weird but it smacks slightly of being a "throw everything at him and see if we can change his mind" kind of thing. I keep thinking back to the way Sark tried to sway Arik Armstead vs. Chip Kelly's approach. In that case, the clown show did not work. Could be similar here.
 
The Ruth Robbins gifted him to Michigan, so he's got that going for him..
