Coleman coming back?

I agree about Coleman at the combine but if he can stay healthy and run faster than a 4.6, he should go in the 5th or earlier which would put him in the $1 to $1.25 million range per year if he went in the 5th. Maybe UW would be willing to pony up $1.5 because defending Coleman and Williams next year would be a nightmare in the RPO game for LBs.
5th round picks typically are not on the active roster consistently for the most part. Unless you hate school, take the college bag.
I'd love for him to come back and get guaranteed money via NIL. He's a great RB.

If Coleman comes back we very likely have no one leave early for the draft. I imagine it's been a very long time since that's happen and a good indicator of a team not being great.

Lake's 2021 class was probably THE worst class in the past 15 years. Only 4 guys are still on the roster (including Giles Jackson, a transfer), and only 2 starters (Jackson and Voi Tunuufi).

If you want to stab your eyes out:

and Lake's / DeBoers' 2022 class was pieced together. Brailsford was a gem (Alabama now). Boston was a great get. Jayvon Parker was looking good until his injury:

It's funny that the 21 class made it into the top 30. Not one of the 4+* high school recruits that buoyed ut worked out.
The transfer group wasn't bad though.

Bucky Irving went in the 4th round. How does Coleman comp?
Coleman is clearly more talented than Bucky IMO and he's a good 20 pounds heavier.
Coleman has an elite burst for his size, not a home run threat, but has pretty unreal physical characteristics. If he had decent blocking he'd average 9 yards a carry.
If he can get a million next year at UW why would he turn that down.

We need more money for Vander Ploog and Zac Stadusky too. How does UW get more big money folks to keep schools from poaching them?
