Atlantic retracts alcohol article about Kash Patel

Then Kash should have no problem taking it to trial.

The only sources on the record deny it? You mean Kash denies it? Shocking.
Dod you actually read the Tweet on this thread about other “news”services trying to corroborate it? Guess what? They couldn’t, and I’m sure the people close to Patel will be deposed if a judge allows this to proceed.

You’ve got some weird glitch with trusting literally everything that confirms your worldview.

The Daily Wire? Lolz.

Our education system has again failed to teach Everett how sources work.
My personal system taught me to “put your fucking name on it” or otherwise I don’t believe it. I’ve seen you dismiss negative articles about Dems that are anonymously sourced.

You’re brainwashed.

Dude, you can say this story is true, but The Atlantic has missed on basically everything the last ten years - on purpose.

I'm with Everett. I thought the article was retracted. I was wrong. Things we never get out of our Tugtards. Easy to be a conservative.

Think about what you're saying for a nanosecond. You think this administration would tolerate named sources? They'd be out of a job instantly. Anonymous inside sourcing is the only reason we are able to see inside the veil. That's how it's always been, regardless of administration. This is how political reporting works.

Like I said, if the Atlantic made up the story, Kash should have no problem taking it to trial.

As I just said, you have a mental glitch where you automatically believe things that fit into your personal narrative.

It’s weird.

I trust reports from reputable outlets that are detailed, well-sourced, and clearly not made up. Did you read the article? It's bonkers to think they made this all up.

I don't understand why Kash having an alcohol problem is too outlandish to be believed. Alcoholism is pretty common. It is what it is. I have sympathy for alcoholics, but I draw the line when they're in a position of power like the FBI Director and it's affecting their work. Everyone should. He's unfit for the job. Let's get someone in there who isn't an alcoholic that requires their doors to be busted down with a battering ram to wake them up. Too much to ask? I really don't get the attachment to Kash. You didn't vote for him.
