Again, read what I've posted. We agree on this obvious point. Where we seem to disagree is whether or not ASJ should be held personally accountable regardless of the coaching staff. I'm an old fart who believes in personal accountability, and see ASJ's work ethic as damaging to himself and his teammates. He deserves to be called out on this.

Anyway, ASJ doesn't matter now. What matters now is the extent to which his actions (or inactions) reflect Sark's team culture which is in turn having an impact on Peterman's ability to turn this thing around in a reasonable amount of time. He's having do to a lot more house cleaning than I think he bargained for, which is adding to his task. This year could be interesting. I think most of us assume they will take another step back, but what if the S&C coach's impact starts to be seen, along with the type of player development Peterman's staff is known for? Maybe the step back is a soft one and they start stepping forward as the season progresses. It's probably too early to hope for that, but a doog can doog, can't he? Seriously though, I do think we're in trouble if we don't see the team improving as the season progresses. It's too early to tell, but without tangible improvement by year three, a Peterman couch better be for sale in time for Christmas 2016.
