A Flock Of Seagulls - Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)

The Throbber likes that song a lot.

Better than that weird video you posted a while back about Space Age Love Song being the greatest song of the 80's or some such fuckery.

I remember being at a 5th quarter after a Husky game, and Lambo was running late. I was in the bleachers with my walkman (yes, walkman) listening to this song wondering "Where the fuck is Lambo? when he finally walked in. And he came in through the front door of the pavillion as opposed to the back door as was usual for him and UW coaches.

Lambo was a back door man?!?

Too early for me to have known wtf was going on in the world, but I am damn glad that genre of music wasn't on the radio as a youth.

GOAT photograph song

Tillicum Jr High School, 7th grade dance, this song comes on, and I had to muster all my courage to cross the floor and ask a girl named Usha Jumani to dance.

How could you know she'd become a shrill congresswoman from MN?

She had little interest in me.

When everyone was going around getting people to sign their yearbooks, I excitedly went up to her and handed her mine. She wrote, and I quote:

"Derek,

Usha"

csb

Sounds like she was playing hard to get.

Not even a “stay cool”

That’s weak.

Jennifer Connolly at 2:11. Mmm-Hmm.

Underrated John Hughes film. Written by just not directed I believe.
