Supposedly, there is a rift between Chun and Judd regarding (among other things) NIL being in house versus utilizing a third party.

What are the benefits/costs of each? Why is one preferable? (Assuming financial costs are relatively similar.)

What are the other conflicts between Chun and Jedd?

Is there support for Chun forcing Judd to run the program in house? If so, why? Seems like the (once/always) Cuog is just forcing a big dick contest which is likely the only one he could ever actually win.

Given Jedd fancies himself a legit general manager, what does it even matter?

Also, given the shit Jedd has put up with under Chun (no apparent discussion of contract rollover or increasing the assistant coaches pool) why shouldn't he be open to pursuing a job where you don't need to struggle internally with someone having a Napoléon complex?

I get that we have all been there but still . . . . . . . . . . . . . Serious questions . . . . . . . . .

Don't really know anymore. Feels like UW football really is going to become Minnesota. There was a little window when they bridged the Petersen era with DeBoer if they could have kept Deboer and recruited or hit a big home run hire. Seems now like they're stuck as a program that just can't quite do things at a higher level. Going 8-4 again this year led by a coach and player everyone hates in a broken system seems like a perfect nail in the coffin season for a lot of people like me.

Get a grip.

Fleck has only had one good season in like 7 years there.

UW at 9-4 in year 2 of a big rebuild is better than any Minnesota season in recent memory, besides 1 which is now looking like it was a fluke and Fleck might as well be 7 win Sark.

UW is substantially more committed to football than Minnesota and is a better program in every single way.

Multi year rebuilding these days isn’t really a thing.

I think it still is. The difference being that there are now outliers like DeBoer at UW and Cignetti at Indiana that can perform a lightning strike complete revamp of a team.

Other than those guys, who has done that?

Maybe Elko at aTm, but that took a couple years and this season ended with a whimper.
 
Okay, if it's so easy, who else did it besides DeBoer or Cignetti?

And I agree that the answer is always to spend more. A lot of programs spend money, but don't get the results.

So far there are only really two huge outliers in the portal era.
