It’s going to be better because Demond is a talented QB and QB’s are often better when they have experience. I fully expected him to make a jump before his quick scandal and I still do. A improved OL will also help. There are question marks and by no means do we have one of the top offenses in the country, but it’s not a dire situation either. There is potential to be pretty damn good.

We won’t have to score 30+ points every week to win. We can’t have games of 7, 10, 13 etc. We have to score 20+ even in struggle games. I think we will have less clunkers this season than last.

I generally agree and it would be fun if HH posters want to bet on this. LSU seemed to take the side that he will improve after a year of starting under his belt or else why would they be willing to spend $6 million on him?

LSU might just think he’s been poorly coached too. And they have unlimited money to spend.

Heard Clooper Petaganana stay twice on podcasts that NFL scouts see Demond as a Top 50 prospect, which seems insane to me. It's possible people have been in his hear confirming this and saying Jedd has been holding him back. We'll find out in 2027 when Demond plays for someone else.

Hopefully Fisch runs Demond into the dirt. I think that's why we got the 4 star from Stanford

His reputation as a player outside of us is high. I don’t think Kyler Murray is the worst comparison, but both Young and Murray were much more productive in college. Demond has to produce.

Demond both collapsed in big games and showed promise against most of the schedule. You dont completely suck by leading the 18 team B1G in total yards.

If he plays better in big games then UW will be in the playoffs. Big if.

He is obviously motivated by money if by nothing else.

It's not dooging to suggest that players can get better in their second year as a starter.

Everything here is either being classified as dooging or disaster.

The middle ground is long dead.
