Zona 2 deeps

I'd be ok taking one of their olinemen that made a poor choice last year. Other than that, I'd hope we're setting our sights a little higher.
 
I hear Cignetti left a few ringers at JMU. Maybe UW can snag one of those?

But didn’t Fisch already fail at getting those guys? I suppose if he wants them bad enough he should try again, but they’ve basically given him the bird once. I guess I’d move on to players who actually want to play for me — players who are better, too.

They thought their team was gonna be good and Fifita/Tapatio McMillan had a real “Ohana-we’re gonna stay” flag-planting.

Both are positions of need and would matchup well with our roster.
They may have a TE that could have value to our roster filling the Latu role … we probably don't need a frontline starter here but we could use someone that can play TE2 or TE3 depending on the need
Not sure if they have a DT or WR option that is a great fit but those are other positions where I could see us looking
 
The reality is, we're going to need a lot of portal help if we're going to be competitive in the Big 10 next year. The last 4 years of Lake, DeBoer, and Fisch (so far) has been significantly below standard in the recruiting department. Other than Penix and Coleman, it has been terrible in the portal as well. Just today we took a commitment from a 400 LB lineman no one else wanted and are trying to flip an extremely low rated TE from Wazzu. Raiding Arizona at this point is going to help us about as much as taking guys from Montana, Portland, State, and UC Davis like we did last year. Gonna have to spend some big money or GTFO
