At any other position, looking young is a good thing because it means they have room to grow. At QB, it’s not important.

I watched him last year tho and the way he moves in the pocket and the pinpoint dimes he was throwing were impressive. Pro Days are mostly a waste of time, but he had a throw rolling left that he threw 50+ yards that showed he has a really fucking strong arm. As BTP would say, elite.

He was a one year wonder, but the Joe Burrow comparisons aren’t far off. I thought nothing of him when we played BYU in 2019, but it’s hard to have a negative opinion on him after watching a couple BYU games last year.

Tl,dr : He sucks. UW dominated him when he was a sophomore.

My buddy has a theory about why a QB needs to be handsome. The problem with Wilson is he’s TikTok handsome and looks 12. If he doesn’t play well, he will get destroyed.

they played some pretty shitty teams last year. who was the best team they played? coastal carolina? he was pretty pedestrian against them. smart move getting out though, avoids another loss to utah.

the afc east arent worldbeaters but its a step up.
