I got a little excited for a moment through my blurry eyes seeing all the posts thinking conversation was stimulated, but I see that was not the case.

It's not about the Internet, it's about servers and legislation.

If people could stick a device into a slot to pay for whatever they wanted, anywhere, then that is a different story.

Worse case scenario they could shut off the on/off ramps like Cash App or Swan and make it illegal in America, but the Bitcoin would just flow elsewhere and those areas will flourish

Funny how everyone hoards Bitcoin but doesn’t use it to make transactions except outside the shady strip mall barbershop that’s probably a front for the mob. They hold it because number go up. The psychology of Bitcoin is fascinating. I can’t wait for all the in-depth documentaries one day.

Cartels use BTC. That alone is billions(probably trillions) in market cap being used for transactions. Nevermind all the shady globalist shit that no doubt gets traded.

Then you have all the small cap trading in the black market. The local drug dealer around here knows how to use smart contracts.

And technically I could mail Derek a flash drive. Cold storage of BTC/crypto is a thing.

User adoption(outside of the big brokers) is the real cliff hanger right now. The government wants to erect barriers to entry as high as possible for obvious reasons. CBDC is dead as a competitor(hopefully for us all).
