It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Top Gear (British version obviously)
Celebrity Deathmatch
Chappelle’s Show
Crank Yankers
The Man Show (remember when Comedy Central was funny and Kimmel wasn’t a cuck?)[/s]

Rick and Morty
Breaking Bad
South Park
It’s Always Sunny
Parks and Rec
The Office
The Man in the High Castle
GoT (sans final 2 seasons)
SNL
Stranger Things

I need to give High Castle another look. Got stalled out on it.

The actor for the lead Nazi character is phenomenal. He does some outright evil shit and still makes you sympathize with him

J?

  1. Seinfeld
  2. South Park (pre-heavy politics shit that has taken the show over[/b])
  3. Curb Your Enthusiasm
  4. The Man in the High Castle
  5. The Americans
  6. Old Looney Tunes cartoons
  7. Pee Wee's Playhouse (re-watch this as an adult and enjoy the sexual innuendo)
  8. The Price is Right (Bob Barker years)
  9. History Channel WWII shit
  10. Transformers (80's era)

Agree. I had to leave SNL off because of this. I watched consistently from the mid 80's until about 3 years ago when being funny became less of a priority than desperate activism. I really miss that show. And Letterman

Agree, except snl hasn’t been funny for a good 15 years and its been at least 5 for South Park as well.

The simpsons
South park
It's always sunny in Philadelphia
30 rock
The IT crowd
The office
The x files
Dragon ball z (not sure I'd enjoy it anymore... but there was a time and a place and my list is losing steam...)
Jeopardy

Two Shows have ! In their title so this list must be good:

Breaking Bad
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
South Park
Simpsons (first 10 or so seasons)
Police Squad!
MacGyver
Rick and Morty
Almost Live! (The 30 minute John Keister version, not the 60 minute Ross Shafer talk show version)
Seinfeld
River Monsters[/b]

Good call. That could've been in my top 10. The effort to make some of the fish seem dangerous, and some of the episodes harrowing, was on the cheesy side of things, but they were all great documentaries and stories with cool fish. I actually kind of like the host and the way the shows are staged, even when there is no real mystery and he's just trying to catch bad ass fish.

I actually got turned onto this show by my eight year old son, who gobbles it up. It's actually pretty entertaining, although my eyes roll every time he has to jump into the croc/shark-infested water after his gear because it was "ripped out of his hands."

Edit: I'm getting two fishing shows confused because of your "cheesy side of things" comment. My son's favorite show is Chasing Monsters[/i] on Netflix. Same kind of thing only not limited to rivers. Same cheesy put-yourself-in-danger-for-dramatic-effect angle. Still fun to watch.

For some reason that picture reminded me of the greatest show ever produced:

Cosmos. OG, not the new one, although the new one isn't bad (it just tries way too hard to be the original). We should strap every sixth grader in America into their chairs, prop their eyes open with toothpicks Clockwork Orange style, and make them watch the whole series.

I'll consult with my seeding committee ( @Doog_de_Jour and whom ever else wants to volunteer ), but I think we'll keep this tournament to best 32 shows of all time for Drama, Sitcoms, Cartoons, Crime/Action, etc. Talkshows, comedy sketches, documentaries, mini series can be fodder for the REAL off season.
