There's a reason he didn't do it when Trump was in office because he had no idea how Trump would have responded. That's the beauty of the guy. The vid of him grabbing little Puty's hand and pulling him into him space tells you all you need to know about Trump. You don't think the Russian's knew how Joey would respond to an invasion. They have a 50 year dossier on the guy. People forget that.

If the Euro's had any balls at all, they could have lined the border with troops and weaponry at the same time that putin was doing the same and not a shot would have been fired.
We sat and watched and did nothing to preempt this catastrophe.
If we had controlled our own Southern border as a sign of the importance of national sovereignty, that might have impressed Putin. If a feckless leader and his party won't defend their own country that sure seems like a signal that they aren't interested in a border thousands of miles away.
