Why is it fair to fire an OC after 1 year but not the HC?
* of course, we’re on Year 2

If he prefers to give a coach more than one season, then why is he so willing to kick poor old Donovan to the curb?
This is the point of the thread title.
This guy is not so bright.
It’s also some indicative of most Americans. We can look at someone or something fucking up, whether it’s players on team, an OC, kids in school or a dog - there’s no such thing as a bad kid, just bad/lazy parents or no bad dogs, just bad/lazy owners.
There’s someone, somewhere, who’s supposed to be in charge and responsible. In this case, it’s Jimmy but instead of putting the accountability where it belongs, it’s easier and lazier to put all the blame on Donovan.
I don’t hate Donovan for being a shitty OC who can’t tell the difference between his ass and a hole in the ground. I blame Jimmy for hiring a guy nobody in their right mind wanted.
And at this point, Jimmy already showed he makes poor hiring decisions so why even give him another opportunity? And as said above, what fucking decent OC would look at this situation and say yeah, “I wanna pack up and go up for a year only to have to find another job at the end of the ‘22 season all while sullying my resume by coaching Jimmy’s shit for talent team”.
But Doogs like 67dawgman are incapable of blaming the HC or AD because it’s too much of an intellectual challenge.
