you can thank Miles for running Taylor off

Or, he's just a Sark-lovin' quitter...

Miles couldn't get the ball to half the receivers. So, they should have all left the team.

It's a loss but not a huge loss...I'm sure he was a nice kid but players like him are a dime a dozen.

Rosters all across college football are littered with Kendyl Taylor's.

I have to disagree here. During the Husky combine or whatever he was one of the top performers. So was Kevin King, but when Kendyl was on the field he made fucking plays. Showed great ball skills and natural running ability after the catch.

I'm down for the mass exodus, but this directly affects the team in a position of great need moving forward.

There is nothing to disagree with. Kevin King was the top performer of the husky combine. That is a fact. So was Kendyl, except he seemed to translate that athleticism into playmaking abitlity.

Edit: Here's the link to the combine results from the Seattle Times as a refresher. http://blogs.seattletimes.com/husky...-a-4-29-second-40-yard-dash-at-husky-combine/

You never want to lose your best athletes, but if they don't produce who cares. This is a case where we lose one of our best athletes, and in his limited opportunities produced, so it's no bueno. I haven't heard any rumblings about him being a cancer or anything, just sucks he didn't buy in because we could use more playmakers next year, not less.

I don't necessarily disagree with you too much, just thought it was funny that "Kevin King" and "top performers" was in the same paragraph.

What's funny in a poke you eye out with a fork kind of way is that despite Neu and Sark being legends for recruiting billions of wideouts we never seem to have any worth a shit. And both were well known as great recruiters.

Fuck Husky Football

Hey, Sonny Shackleford posts here. but still...

As much as I am not a miley lover, smith is just as much to blame for WR's not seeing the ball. Pull the qb if he can't make passes, use the skills your qb does have to get your wr's the ball, or get the fuck out of town.

I wanted him and I think he's a decent player, but I agree. It's not that big of deal.

As much as I love to Blame The Kids®, I think Taylor leaving has more to do with rarely seeing the field than rarely seeing the ball. It's obvious from his tweet that he has issue with this coaching staff. Maybe he's not an OKG as some have speculated. My guess is he just wants to play, and has realized that, for whatever reason, that ain't happening at UW.

Gonna drop some insider knowledge. I knew it weeks ago, but couldn't poast here.

Just talked to one of Kendyl's family friends. Says KT (I call him that, means we tight) didn't like Pete. Says alot of the team doesn't like Pete. I pointed out it seemed like Danny Shelton seemed to like Pete. Was told Danny Shelton ain't no Steve Empterman (told this by an ex player no less)

I said it seemed like alot of Sark guys were pussies and Pete was too tough for them. There really wasn't a response to that. Kendyl seemed like a nice enough kid, and knew the only way he was going to get to the "league" (that's what we call the NFL) was to get 100 catches and that wasn't going to happen here. So NAU, and 100 catches, here they come.

So yeah, in a way, Miley chased him away. If Miley would have gotten him the ball 100 times, he'd still be here.

Smart move. A player looks better to scouts putting up big numbers at the FCS level than putting up pedestrian ones at the BCS level.

And even if Miley was good, Taylor was still a 4th or 5th option. He wouldn't put up big numbers regardless of who was playing QB.

Taylor had plenty of time to show his value. Sark saw so much value in him that he played him as a true freshman out of desperation and redshirted him his sophomore year. CP saw so much value in him that he was buried in the depth chart.

CP has said it numerous times. Players earn their playing time in practice. I subscribe to that approach. Taylor obviously did not do what he needed to do in practice to earn meaningful playing time. And if a kid can't earn meaningful playing time in his 3rd year in the program, perhaps the NFL is not a realistic goal.
