Yesterday I set up a Twitter account, today my account was shut down

If you didn't connect it to a phone number they basically automatically flag you. It's stupid and it's a bitch. You'll have to "contest" it through the settings to get it unlocked. I had to do the same thing when creating the doog pod twatter.

Same thing happened to me when I started a Twitter account. I believe it was because I followed to many people in the first day. If you followed a bunch of people, it should let you back on in a day or two.

Apparently Twitter has more than one reason to give a similar “reason” for temporarily? blocking a new account. I’d give it a day or two and see if it opens up again. I didn’t have to “contest” it or anything when it happened to me.
