Yellowstone...

I liked it for a while, then it got a little too soap-opraish.

Quite common really.

Speaking of soap, the Native American wife with a conscience taking a soapy bath in her master errrr main bathroom while making the disappearing Native girls all about her own angst was some good stuff.

Me me me

Still a great show IMO. Plenty of bodies get dropped

Ok I just watched the first episode. Damn fine show. I’m pissed at @swaye for taking Costner’s moo cows.

Me & the mister haven’t been drawn into a show like this in a long tim. Like Sopranos, Rome or early Lost levels.

I like that Costner only does westerns now. This was always his best genre.

Why do you hate the small of a woman's back, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days?

Why do hate having a catch?

I can see that. We’re a couple eps into season 3 and the love stories are coming to fore.

After a few seasons, you get to this point where it's just a whole bunch of awful people doing terrible things to each other. There's no "good guy" to root for, so it makes it hard to care about the outcome of every particular conflict (which get increasingly outlandish). "Do I want this total asshole to win or do I want this other total asshole to win?"

No argument on the outlandishness. However, that’s where I think the acting, directing, and dialogue writing win over plot writing.

True, but that is true of most shows after a few years. And the season finale for Season 3 is one of the best in the business.

Man @chuck and @dflea, the fly fishing scenes are just horrific in the show thus far. I mean they aren't even trying to come correct.

I haven't watched yet so I've reserved comment.

That guy in the photo is no Brad Pitt or Tom Skerrit, thats for sure.

So we tried Longmire last night after burning through Yellowstone. Big mistake. Longmire just looks so ABC TV by comparison.

You should finish Longmire. It's a good series.

Agree although I lost track of it when it moved.

I might. Seemed okay, just not even the same species as Yellowstone.

It grows on you and so does Walt. He's old school TUFF.

I mean Dutton has a fancy ass helicopter and tons of 1 ton Dodge Rams, but he's fishing in some shit hip boots and a $20 Walmart fishing vest? It just don't make not god damn sense. The fellas from Simms really missed out on getting their product plugged here.

The folks at Simms can plug themselves with a rusty cheese grater. Racket running bastards.

Still, I get a sizeable discount due to work so I keep buying their shit. It is the best, unfortunately.

I was wondering if the guy in the pic had any kind of boots on over those jeans. He definitely looks ready for something...just not fishing.
