Xavier Carlton, 2020 4* DL, Modesto (Modesto Christian), CA (Offered - 4/11/19)

Serious question because I am too lazy to figure it out but I know someone will just know. We took a fucking pile of great DLs last year. Did we split them up by playing some/half/whatever and then red shirting a chunk of them as well? I always hate skipping a position group for a class, but if we spaced last years class well it at least takes some of the sting out of it. Still sucks.

Nah we redshirted them all. But hopefully we can do that with the '21 class where there is at least one guy (please god) that would not redshirt. That would help with balancing the numbers.

It sucks but there was literally no one good out west. Here’s to hoping Princely doesn’t sign early
 
It’s always less than ideal to take a 0 in a class but it’s not a killer ... the killer is when you are short on numbers in 2 straight classes

The pressure to have a strong class next year is massive now

Apparently theres a USC mod claiming that Carlton is waiting until february to sign and will take more trips. I have no idea if theres any truth to it, but it would make sense based on how many coaches were in his house last week. It could be he wants to see Cal, SC, and UW before making a choice and UW told him to hold off until January if they knew he wasnt signing on wednesday

He told Ektard that he wanted to visit but this week was finals and his parents wanted to be focused on that.

If he doesn’t sign tomorrow, maybe he visits in January.

Recruits tell Ektard blatant lies and he reports it anyway. These days the majority of them ignore Ektard all together so he must be thrilled he even got a response this time.
