In whst appears to be an absolute dogshit year for d-line guys out west, being able to pull this guy in would be pretty satisfying. He's got a ton of offers and I'm not sure where UW sits, but it would be pretty awesome to land this guy instead of Lance

UW is his leader and he's coming here. We'll get his last OV and he'll be one of the last commits if not the last one in this class. Unfortunately for all the Lance haters they are not mutually exclusive recruits. Lance is a Buck recruit (Kwat) and Carlton is a D-line recruit (Malloe). Neither commitment will affect the other. Only getting a better OLB recruit (Smalls or Navarrette) is going to prevent Lance from being a Dawg.

This guy is super important. In fact here are penaces' top recruits in order of imprtance...
1. Flowe- amazing burst the guy is just a fucking rocket. huge swinging dick stud at a position of need.
2. Covington-kinda surprised he hasn't committed. A little worried that he might like being recruited an awful lot. We need this guy though. It's amazing that every west coast db isn't falling all over themselves to come to UW
3. Hector- Quite humble kid. He and Covington would level up the db room. I expect both.
4. Carlton- huge dude. Certainly one of the best dl prospects in the west. 6-7 295 lbs monster by the time he is a rs soph. Reminds me of a slightly more athletic slightly bigger Evan Hudson.
5. Rome-imagine the talent In that wr room. Jesus. This guy is good. The only thing i dont love is he kinda lurches hitches off the line of scrimmage. His size speed combo are absolutely delicious.

We are in good standing with him but I would say Utah is his leader right now because he's from there and grew up a Utah fan. Coach Malloe has established a good relationship with him and his mom which is key. He was going to visit us June 21 but his mom got really sick so he couldn't come. This is similar to the Latu situation last year where we has a good relationship with him and his family but couldn't him to visit for whatever reason. Hard to feel confident that we land him until we get him on campus but we do have a good shot depending on when he visits.
