Cancel culture? Is anyone picketing outside her house? Threatening her children? Anyone trying to ruin her financially? Harassing her at restaurants, on airplanes, burning anything down? That is the shit you rats do when you "cancel" people.
Cheney went against her own voters wishes. Her popularity and job approval numbers are around 20% and 77% of all Republican voters in that state say they will vote for anyone BUT Cheney. If the GOP wants to disengage and put their weight behind others that is their prerogative. Cheney is free to run a campaign and stay in the race and no one is begrudging her that right but going against your constituents wishes is political suicide and she knew that.
