BYU in a power 5 is a bad thing for west coast power 5 schools. Suddenly there is no reason not to go play for your church school if your a talented LDS. Utah being in the P12 has been bad enough.

This. Their offensive and defensive lines would be dominant. Still lacking at skill positions though. Those would be still be slow white guys from Provo or Park City.

While Notre Dame is almost respected research wise, mostly by Catholics and east coast automatons , WSU has a research budget almost 1 1/2 times as big as Notre Dame. And in its area WSU is world class and has far more impact.

The PAC is unique. The West is the way; it is the truth; it is the light. I believe the universities of the Pacific Conference are the current incarnation of the founders dreams for the enlightenment and advancement of humanity.
