this loss cannot be minimized. We were better at every single position on the field.

No. Whoever the Montana QB was is probably better than what Wisconsin trudged out today but the rest of Wisconsin is on another level than Montana. It was also on the road.
Can't compare those two programs.

Montana was a pretty good football team but Wisconsin is terrible with basically no functional quarterback. The loss is effectively probably the worst. The 82 Apple Cup was more painful though because of circumstances!

A hilariously idiotic take.
as the number one donor on this site….. I would love to hear your input on why this isn’t worse
Montana is bottom of the barrel JW. We had no business losing to Wisconsin and Fisch can’t be trusted to have his team prepared to win.

Of course idiot AOC would call Montana a good team.

Worse impact on the program. Montana made sure we were on the path to get rid of the wrong coach. This one ensures that the wrong coach isn’t going anywhere.

People that follow college football know that it is common for lower division teams to play pre-season type games with upper division teams. It happens across the board, all divisions. Wins can occur if the challenger fields a really good team and the upper division is mediocre or bad. There's nothing unusual about this. Montana had a really good team and Washington a mediocre teams. It happens.

This reminds me of 2011 Oregon State. We were playing with house money with 6 wins and dooging that we had gotten blasted by good teams but it was just because they were too good and we needed more Tim. We played a hapless team with a dead coach on the road in November and had an uninspired loss and realized we were going to be mediocre for years with the coach.

I was there at Reser. Crisp fall walk across campus.
ASJ had a huge wide open drop for a touchdown
The “Nick Montana game”
