He actually had pretty good numbers and was a team captain for Virginia, although he will likely be a situational RB.

Clearly DeBoner absolutely despises #thestable
 
We have 3 healthy scholarship RB's in spring practice right now. This is clearly a depth fill, might as well use the scholarship they left open for Connerly
 
Had some free time and found some film of Taulapapa. His running style kinda reminds me of McGrew, but he is bigger.

He was also voted a team captain last year, so he probably has some quality of leadership that none of our offensive skill positions have.

From the UVa/Miami game, he seems to have better vision than anyone currently on the roster. Guess we'll see how he does behind this OL

Slot players at that size with speed have been successful before …

But with this being the 2nd recruit of the class, taking an under the radar type off the typical recruiting focused areas suggests this player is at the top of their board (either because of talent or because everybody ahead of him said thanks but no thanks) …

Given his highlights basically showcase straight line speed only …

Let’s just say DeBoer isn’t helping to shed the concerns about recruiting at the P5 level
