Van Winkle was actually pretty good. He has the 2nd highest Field Goal Percentage in UW history behind... Henry. It helps when you (Henry) rarely attempt 40+ yarders, which brings back bad memories (I know it was

Beer Belly Braunstein is my favorite kicker for talking shit about Ty before it was ok/cool.

Folk and Coons were solid. But yeah last good one was Anderson.

Many hated Van Winkle but he was one of the most accurate kickers in Husky History. Henry was good last year too. Folk hit clutch ones but had some truly awful kicks. Coons was pretty good. College kickers in general are often kind of shitty.

a money kicker is well worth a scholarship IMO. I would love to have John Anderson again

Coons' career trajectory was very Henryesque if this year didn't happen. I remember hating him so much his first season. Was shocked at how nails he was in his second season. Henry had a huge turnaround 2018 to 2019 (a little from limiting his range, but there was also definite improvement in his confidence as well). He's definitely back inside his head again this year, so that's unfortunate.
