Democrats had long destroyed the education system before covid. They weren't happy with those results so they doubled down and destroyed it further by forcing kids to stay home and give the teachers, in some cases, two years paid vacation.

Maybe I’m fucking old and have CRS but I don’t think I ever took either the ACT or the SAT. Seem to recall one Saturday taking the Washington pre college test but the fuck I ever studied for the ACT or SAT. I could shoot the J and finger roll so that probably helped out in acceptance more than test results.
Late boomers were the beneficiaries of pretty lax college admission requirements. Enrollment was in the crapper and the economy wasn’t all that awesome (war 18% mortgages). If you could breathe, you were getting in wherever you were willing to send money.
