Especially now that ND has no reason to join any conference.
 
Big 12 doors are permanently open for nearly the entire Pac. Fortunately conference membership also affects research money and other nerd stuff as I understand so I'm sure Jens not steering the ship on this one

Exactly. It's not a matter of if we go into the Big 10, just when.

i dont think they really did want to join a conference. getting more money is always nice but is more $$$ going to get you the athletes (i dont think domer admin wants to be a true football school) you need to have to battle through OSU to get to the playoff? or are domers content with playing army and navy 'for tradition' before getting beat down in the playoff?

The conference UW administration admires most is the Ivy League. Graves Hall would love to be held to those expectations. Don't think for a minute that a PAC-12 with Cal-Poly and UCSD in it isn't seen as a viable option.
