Watching the current dems take the lessons of this election off a cliff I'd say we don't have to worry about it for 8 to 12 years.
Hopefully longer.
 
It’s Alaska though and primaring someone isn’t a thing. She finished third in rank choice voting first wave last time and ended up winning the election. Not the first time for her. Pressure needs to be put on the state legislature.

I think Trump will meet them half way. He still dumps on the left MSM because they haven't changed a bit. They all hated him, from Cruz, Rubio, DeSantis et al. If you are looking for perfect, Trump ain't it. But they know he can rally the base a lot more than any of them and he understands power and how to use it. He learned a lot from being #45 and a few years of age.

The voters passed a law last election ending ranked choice voting until a few weeks later enough votes were found to defeat it.

Alaska's ranked choice repeal measure fails by 664 votes

Bernie is rewarded well for sticking with the party and his presence keeps the idiots who think he’s some man of principle and integrity happy and supporting Democrats.
Dem Cultists are easy to fool.
